July 11 in the history of earthquakes

The known history of seismic events on July 11 will not be new this year, should the great earthquake in California occur.

Jericho Earthquake

The 1927 Jericho earthquake was a devastating event that struck the British Mandate of Palestine and Transjordan on July 11 at 3:04 p.m. local time. The epicenter was located in the northern Dead Sea region. The cities of Jerusalem, Jericho, Ramla, Tiberias, and Nablus suffered severe damage, and it is estimated that between 287 and 400 people died.

In 1977, Vered and Striem located the epicenter of the earthquake near the Damya Bridge in the Jordan Valley, close to the city of Jericho. Later research by Avni in 1999 located the epicenter about 50 km south of this location, near the Dead Sea.

The earthquake also caused significant damage to the domes of the Church of the Holy Sepulchre and the Al-Aqsa Mosque.

The earthquake was particularly severe in Nablus, where about 300 buildings were destroyed, including the Mosque of Victory and parts of the historic Grand Mosque of Nablus. The death toll in Nablus included over 150 people, with around 250 others injured.

If we look at the astrology of this event compared to July 11, 2025, we find an exact alignment between Jupiter and Uranus in Aries and Saturn and Neptune in 2025.

Another correspondence with this earthquake is Mercury in Leo on both dates.

Mars' position is very close in Leo and Virgo.

Menglian Earthquake and Myanmar-China Earthquake

The 1995 Menglian Earthquake, also known as the Myanmar-China Earthquake, occurred on July 11, 1995, at 21:46:39 UTC, and at 05:46 local time on July 12, in the border region between Myanmar and China. The epicenter of the earthquake was located on the Myanmar side of the border, in the mountainous region of Shan State. It registered a 7.3 on the Chinese surface wave magnitude scale and a 6.8 on the moment magnitude scale, with a maximum Mercalli intensity of 8. The earthquake caused 11 fatalities and left 136 others injured. More than 100,000 homes in both countries were destroyed, and 42,000 others were severely damaged. Some damage to structures was also reported in Chiang Mai and Chiang Rai, Thailand. The relatively low death toll from this earthquake was attributed to an early warning issued before the main event. Precursor events, including foreshocks and some seismic anomalies, led to the evacuation of the area before the main shock occurred. It is considered one of the few successfully predicted earthquakes in history.

Between September 19, 1994, and May 12, 1995, a series of earthquakes of magnitude 4.7 or greater were detected in the border region between Myanmar and China. Seismologists also detected unusual anomalies in the seismic parameters of that region. Changes in the water levels in Shidian County were also interpreted as indications of a major earthquake.

Astrologically, this earthquake is particularly striking because its positions closely resemble those of 2025.

Saturn was in Pisces, and on July 11, it will be at 1 degree Aries, in a very similar position.

The Moon was in Capricorn, and on July 11, 2025, it will be in Capricorn.

Venus' position is replaced by that of Jupiter in 2025 at the same degree in Cancer.

Meanwhile, Mars is in Virgo on both dates.

Guatemala and Honduras Earthquake on July 11, 1999

A strong 6.5 magnitude earthquake on the Richter scale struck the border region between Guatemala and Honduras on July 11, 1999, at 8:14 a.m. local time. Another significant tremor occurred on July 13, measuring 5.4 on the Richter scale. The earthquake caused cracks in buildings, especially in the El Progreso hospital.

"One person died, and another passed away due to a heart attack; at least 40 people were injured in the Izabal-Puerto Barrios area in Guatemala. Seven houses were destroyed, and forty-one sustained significant damage. Bridges and roads were damaged in the Izabal-Puerto Barrios area in Guatemala. Minor damage was reported in western Honduras. The earthquake was felt across most of Honduras and in eastern Guatemala. It was also felt in Belize, El Salvador, and Villahermosa, Mexico.

In this earthquake, the position of Mercury is almost identical to that of July 11, 2025.
