Ryo Tatsuki: "The Future I See," a manga with predictions of major events including the great earthquake of 2011 and 2025.

On July 1, 1999, a manga was published in Japan that went unnoticed until March 11, 2011, when a magnitude 9.0 earthquake devastated Japan. Readers of The Future I See, which was already 12 years old at the time, realized that the 2011 disaster was strikingly similar to what had been predicted in the book. Since then, it was revealed that Ryo Tatsuki, the author of this manga, had experienced 15 prophetic dreams, 13 of which came true.

Who is Ryo Tatsuki?
Ryo Tatsuki was born in Kanagawa, Japan, on December 2, 1954, and currently resides in Yokohama. During his childhood, he was involved in drawing and singing, activities common to most children, so there was nothing particularly unusual about him. However, when he was nine years old, he had a dream in which he saw a very kind and friendly "elderly man" with white hair. Although the man shared many things with him, he did not clearly explain the meaning of his visions at that time.

In 1975, as Ryo Tatsuki was starting his career as an illustrator, he began working on several mangas. An unexpected turn occurred on November 24, 1976, when he had his first prophetic dream. In that dream, he saw the sudden death of Freddie Mercury, the lead singer of Queen. Since he had never had a prophetic dream before, he didn't pay much attention to it. However, he had the habit of recording his dreams in his journal through drawings.

Fifteen years later, on November 24, 1991, Freddie Mercury passed away. Ryo Tatsuki was surprised to discover that not only did the news match exactly what he had dreamed, but the words used in the report were the same ones he had written in his journal. It was then that he realized the date of his dream, 15 years earlier, was exactly the same as the day of the singer's death.

Despite the coincidence, Ryo Tatsuki remarked that although the news surprised him, at that time he still thought it was just a coincidence.

The Bulgarian Legend and Ryo Tatsuki's Prophetic Dreams
In Bulgarian culture, it is believed that the left eye symbolizes the "past," while the right eye is associated with the "future." This concept has been linked to the visions of Ryo Tatsuki, the author of The Future I See, due to the recurring symbols in both his work and his life.

Inexplicable Coincidences

Although prophetic dreams might seem like a fanciful idea from a scientific perspective, Ryo Tatsuki's dreams have proven to be remarkably accurate.

One clear example occurred on August 31, 1992, when Tatsuki dreamed that he was in a European palace, walking down a long hallway to a painting at the end that depicted a blonde woman holding a baby, with the word "Diana" written on the canvas. Five years later, on August 31, 1997, Princess Diana tragically died in a car accident, on the exact date that Tatsuki had had his vision.

In general, Tatsuki’s dreams tend to come true after 5, 10, or even 15 years, though not always with such precision. In some cases, Tatsuki has even been able to predict the exact year when the event would occur.

Prediction of the Kobe Earthquake

On January 2, 1995, Tatsuki had a dream in which an elderly man took him to a "cracked land." Upon waking up, he noted in his journal that Kobe, Japan, would be "cracked" in 15 days or 15 years. Just 15 days later, on January 17, 1995, the devastating Great Hanshin Earthquake struck Kobe, coinciding astonishingly with his prediction.

The End of an Era and the Return to Writing

After publishing his manga The Future I See, Tatsuki chose to retire from the manga industry and refrain from publishing further works. However, many years later, he felt the need to share new visions, and in early October 2021, he released a complete version of his book—a revised and "improved" edition of the original. This edition was published on October 2, 2021, which results in a total of 3 years, 9 months, and 9 days until the great earthquake of July 11, 2025.

In both versions of the manga, there is a young girl covering her left eye with her hand. According to Bulgarian legend, this symbolizes the past, while the right eye represents the future. In the new edition, the girl is no longer crying and has a "line of luck" on her hand, which seems to indicate that her future (and the future of humanity) will be more promising.

Prediction of Mount Fuji’s Eruption

On August 20, 1991, Tatsuki had a dream in which he was at Mount Fuji, which began emitting thick white smoke and then erupted. Upon waking up, he drew what he had seen and predicted that the eruption would occur either on August 20, 2006, or August 20, 2021. However, neither of these years saw an eruption of Mount Fuji.

In the new edition of his manga, Tatsuki included two new dreams about Mount Fuji, occurring on May 27, 2002, and June 11, 2005. In both of these, the mountain appeared in a much more peaceful state. This raises the question of whether, even if Mount Fuji does erupt one day, it will be as catastrophic as initially predicted. Unfortunately, Tatsuki did not provide further details on this subject.

Prediction of the 2011 Japan Earthquake

The manga, published 12 years earlier in 1999, had the words "The great disaster will occur in March 2011" written on its cover. After this fact was broadcast on a television entertainment program, the manga became popular and was sold for over 100,000 yen at an auction for some time.

Prophecy of the Tsunami

In 1999, during a trip to India, Tatsuki had a dream in which the Sea of Japan was initially calm, but then began to bubble as if it were boiling. In his dream, he thought it might have been a submarine volcano, but he soon woke up. Since he only saw the bubbles, he did not include this dream in the first edition of his book.

However, on July 5, 2021, Tatsuki had the same dream he had had 22 years earlier. In this vision, the sea continued to bubble, and two giant dragons emerged from the bubbles. Over time, more bubbles began to appear, the sea level rose, and a massive tsunami was unleashed, flooding more than a third of Japan.

Compared to the 2011 tsunami, which reached a height of 10 meters, the tsunami in Tatsuki’s dreams could be as high as 30 meters, which is particularly terrifying. Moreover, right after the tsunami made landfall, he saw a portion of land rising from the sea, creating a new connection between Japan, Taiwan, Hong Kong, and the Philippines.

This dream was so significant to Tatsuki that he felt compelled to sketch it. The drawing is divided into three parts: the first shows the Earth's crust shaking beneath the sea, with two giant dragons beside it. The second part describes the tsunami advancing toward land and flooding a third of Japan. The most unsettling part is the bold message: "Please evacuate urgently."

Tatsuki predicted that this disaster would occur on July 5, 2025, and he was quite certain it would happen in the morning.

While this dream may seem unlikely, Japan has experienced several smaller earthquakes in recent years, making this prediction not so far-fetched. Moreover, in 2013, an underwater volcano near Nishinoshima, Japan, erupted and formed a new island, suggesting that volcanic activity in the region could be contributing to these geological changes.

Numerological Patterns and Alignment with Future Dates

It seems that Tatsuki might be using mysterious sciences like numerology and astrology to predict these global events. The disaster of July 2025 is clearly linked to the "big one" earthquake in California, although the date will be the 11th, as indicated in my book.

Here, I will align the dates of Tatsuki’s predictions with the date of July 11, 2025, and in some cases, with March 11, 2011.

  1. Manga publication on July 1, 1999

    • Time until July 11, 2025: 26 years, 0 months, 10 days (9,507 total days).
    • Time until March 11, 2011 (Japan Earthquake and Tsunami): 11 years, 8 months, 10 days (4,271 total days).
    • We see that the date of the Japan earthquake is numerologically aligned with 11: 8+1+1+1 = 11.
  2. Ryo Tatsuki's birthdate: December 2, 1954

    • Time until March 11, 2011: 56 years, 3 months, 9 days (20,553 total days).
    • Time until July 11, 2025: 70 years, 7 months, 9 days (25,789 total days).
    • Both dates align with future dates.
  3. First prophetic dream on November 24, 1976

    • Time until March 11, 2011: 34 years, 3 months, 16 days (12,525 total days).
    • Time until July 11, 2025: 48 years, 7 months, 16 days (17,761 total days).
    • The dates are aligned, and the total days sum to 1.7.7.
  4. Second date: August 31, 1992

    • Time until March 11, 2011: 18 years, 6 months, 9 days (6,766 total days).
    • Time until July 11, 2025: 32 years, 10 months, 9 days (12,002 total days).
    • The pattern of 3s repeats in both dates: 1+8 = 9, 6+9 = 15 → 9.6.9.
  5. Prediction on January 2, 1995 (Kobe Earthquake)

    • Time until July 11, 2025: 30 years, 6 months, 9 days (11,148 total days).
    • The alignment is precise and clear.
  6. Prediction on August 20, 1991 (Mount Fuji Eruption)

    • Time until July 11, 2025: 33 years, 10 months, 20 days (12,379 total days).
    • The date plays with the number 3, summing 2+1 = triple 3.
  7. Prediction of Tsunami on July 5, 2021

    • Time until July 11, 2025: 4 years, 0 months, 6 days (1,467 total days).
    • The total days (1,467) can be transformed into 7.11, or July 7, 2025—suggesting that the true date of the great earthquake will be on July 11, 2025.

The numerology and alignment of these dates create a striking pattern, reinforcing the potential accuracy of these prophetic predictions.
